Red wine with a flattering nose enhanced by notes of red fruits, very fruity. Light mouthfeel, silky and round tannins. A wine for pleasure, easy to drink! From young vines, this Bordeaux is a blend of Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc. To be drunk young within 5 years.
COMPOSITION
BLENDING : 70 % Merlot – 15 % Cabernet Sauvignon – 15 % Cabernet Franc
AVERAGE AGE : 15 years
AVERAGE DENSITY : 500 vines per hectare (vines planted at 2M and 3M)
SOIL NATURE : Gravelly, Clayey gravelly
VINEYARD MANAGEMENT : Viticulture aiming to respect the environment in HVE (High Environmental Value)
Natural grassing of the vineyard and working of the soil.
HARVEST : Mechanical harvest with sorting of the grapes in the vineyard and in the cellar. Harvesting at cool temperatures in the morning in order to preserve the integrity of the grapes' aromas.
VINIFICATION TECHNIQUES : De-stemming and crushing of the grapes before being put into vats for 3 to 4 weeks.
Fermentation for 15 to 20 days at a temperature of 25°C. Daily pumping over. Daily pumping over.
Aging in thermo-regulated concrete tanks for 15 months.
