Intense garnet hues, black fruits, elderberry. Toasted, fine, coated tannins. Long in the mouth. A very elegant and balanced wine.

A red wine with aromas of ripe fruit, candied fruit, cherry, with a subtle touch of vanilla. A wine of great elegance, character and finesse. Made from the oldest vines in the vineyard and a plot selection, this Bordeaux Supérieur is a blend of Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc. Drink it now but it can also be kept in your wine cellar for 5 to 10 years with the bottle laid down and protected from the light.
COMPOSITION
BLENDING : 60 % Merlot – 25 % Cabernet Sauvignon – 15 % Cabernet Franc
AVERAGE AGE : 30 years
AVERAGE DENSITY : 4500 vines per hectare (vines planted at 2M and 3M)
SOIL NATURE : Gravelly, Clayey gravelly
VINEYARD MANAGEMENT : Viticulture aiming to respect the environment in HVE (High Environmental Value)
Natural grassing of the vineyard and working of the soil.
HARVEST : Mechanical harvest with sorting of the grapes in the vineyard and in the cellar. Harvesting at cool temperatures in the morning in order to preserve the integrity of the grapes' aromas.
VINIFICATION TECHNIQUES : Eraflage et foulage du raisin avant la mise en cuve pendant 3 à 4 semaines.
Fermentation de 15 à 20j à une température de 25°C. Remontages journaliers.
Aged in new French oak for 12 months. Light filtration in order to preserve the substance and the aromas.
