Pale colour with salmon hues. Fruity with notes of fresh red fruits followed by a floral touch. Round and greedy mouth. Long finish.
Aperitif, grilled meat, white meat, fish.
A modern Bordeaux rosé with a light colour. To be drunk young to enjoy its aromas and freshness.
BLENDING : 70 % Cabernet Franc – 30 % Merlot
AVERAGE AGE : 20 years
AVERAGE DENSITY : 4500 vines per hectare (vines planted at 2M and 3M)
SOIL NATURE : Gravelly, Clayey gravelly
VINEYARD MANAGEMENT : Viticulture aiming to respect the environment in HVE (High Environmental Value)
Natural grassing of the vineyard and working of the soil.
HARVEST : Plot selection. Mechanical harvesting with sorting of the grapes in the vineyard and in the cellar. Harvesting at cool temperatures in the morning in order to preserve the integrity of the grapes' aromas.
VINIFICATION TECHNIQUES : De-stemming and crushing of the grapes before being put into vats. Direct cold pressing in a pneumatic press. Fermentation at low temperature (17°c).
Ageing on fine lees until bottling.
